Resource Libraries

This library includes all Society comment letters submitted to the SEC, federal regulators, Congress, state officials, and other governance-related entities. The letters cover a wide range of proposals, including proxy advisory firm reform, the modernization of Rule 14a-8, disclosures on climate risk, cybersecurity, 10b5-1 plans, and share repurchases, as well as mandates on pay versus performance, compensation disclosures, beneficial ownership transparency, and efforts to increase retail shareholder participation in voting.

The Society's year-long 75th anniversary celebration culminated at the 2022 National Conference in Chicago from June 21-24, honoring the Society's legacy of education, networking, and advocacy for corporate governance professionals. In celebration, the Society rang Nasdaq’s closing bell in November 2021 and NYSE’s opening bell in June 2022. Additionally, an anniversary timeline and a series of member videos have been created, showcasing how the Society has supported practitioners over the past 75 years.
